Super interesting perspectives in this! Really helps me understand, that there will always be someone who spends less time on their content, yet seemingly has more success. I'm beginning to understand more how different each community is, that a creator amasses around them. How uniquely theirs it is and how those communities grow at different rates.

As for my favourite creators. Apart from you three, they are mostly based on YouTube or are photographers. Chris Burkard (adventure photographer/filmmaker), Goh Iromoto (the most stunning commercial video work I've ever seen), Danny Gevirtz (filmmaker), Sam Newton (Filmmaker), PatKay (Photographer), Frauki (German photographer), Sho Niimura (Photographer).

That list got long very quickly.

Anyways, looking forward to next week!

Thats a really good point. There will always be someone who spends less time on their content, yet seemingly has more success. Wow - genius!

As long as you aren’t struggling to pay the bills you can always take it slow and build a genuine, concrete following, you guys are doing great and have so many excited for your next post. Don’t compare yourself to others compare yourself to who you were yesterday

I think a lot of my favorite creators (like Nerdwriter and Kurzgesagt) are scripted and longform because I a) love the content and b) can absolutely appreciate the craft that went into it.

Keep pushing, y'all -- you're crushing it!

Nerdwriter is YouTube royalty - insanely good content! And yes, can always tell when someone’s put in the time to go the extra mile. Usually what makes them stand out from the crowd.

Thank you Nathan! We will 😉

Now that you’ve asked me who my favorite creators are, I am starting to realize that my favorite creators are my biggest inspirations, in terms of quality of content. On Youtube, Linh Truong, she is one-of-a-kind! I love that I get to witness her imagination come to life in every video, super nice to watch! On Tiktok, Samba of @sambafilms — literal art!!!! Next level ‘content creator’ right there, I love his color grading & overall cinematography, soooo talented.

I think it takes both of them about a week… 2 days minimum. Their content is just toooo good to be done in a short amount of time. I assume that they put a lot of thought and time into what they do. The production of something high-quality (to me) takes more than an hour or two, for sure.

I agree that the answer to the question of ’are you proud of your content?’ is what matters most. To Sean’s point, it does feel a lot more fulfilling and meaningful when you see your true self reflected in the content you put out. It’s what keeps me so motivated, and to Daniel’s point, consistent.

By far my favorite read! (,: thanks for sharing with us!
